Location

  • This lovely lodge and its famous Portuguese Restaurant and are set on 2000m².  They are situated next door to each other. 
  • The whole property is walled and palisade fenced with electric fencing and remote controlled gates.

Our Guest Lodge (original)  

  • The main house (where the owners live, but where it all started) ground floor is the living area - all open plan.  Kitchen, walk-in pantry, scullery, lounge and dinning room. 
  • On the second floor are 4 en-suite bedrooms. 
  • Adjoining the main house on the second floor above the double garage there is an additional two twin rooms (2 ¾ beds in each) with inter-leading door, both have kitchenettes and en-suite bathrooms. 
  • On the ground floor adjoining the garage is another double room of which is rented out on a monthly basis (en-suite with kitchenette).

The Guest House's rooms

  • 16 fully equipped spacious rooms (55m²).  9 of these rooms are double rooms (queen size beds), 3 are twin rooms (2x3/4 beds), 2 are family rooms (queen size bed and two bunk beds for kids) and 2 are executive rooms (queen size beds) with the addition of a double Jacuzzi bath as well as the standard shower like all the other rooms have.
  • All rooms are en-suite, have kitchenettes (containing:  fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave), Flat screen tvs with dstv channels, aircon and private balconies.  The 16 rooms are split equally into 2 blocks. Block 1 (the first built) has 8 rooms.  This block has the addition of the laundry and a room above it which is used for the manager.  Block 2 has the other 8 rooms.  Each block is double storey.
  • The guest house has a separate reception area close to the pool. 
  • The building consists of a fully equipped kitchen, dinning area (where we serve breakfast) which can seat app 40 pax.  There is also a decked seating area outside which can seat an additional 30 pax and has a private bar. 
  • Newly built is a conference room which can seat up to 50pax.  At the entrance of the guest lodge also newly built is a gate house for security to man the gate. 

Guest House Staff

  • 1 Manager and the owners.
  • 3 Cleaning Ladies.
  • 1 Gardener.

Our Restaurant

  • Can seat up to 350 pax and has parking for app 150 - 200 cars. 
  • The restaurant has been running successfully since 2004.
  • Trading hours:  10am – (kitchen closes at 10pm) 7 days a week – Sundays kitchen closes at 20:30.
  • Fully licensed.
  • Extensive al-a-carte menu with over 100 dishes to choose from (fresh line fish and live wild oysters get flown up weekly from Mossel Bay).
  • Our restaurant is well known for the best seafood in town – but meat and chicken dishes also very popular.
  • Sushi menu also available. 
  • We cater for all functions.
