Let me welcome you to our little hotel located right in the heart of Cairo. Hospitality is an art but in Egypt it is also an ancient tradition. What our Villa Hotel offers you is a quiet oasis after spending a warm day at the pyramids or in bustling old Cairo and the bazaar.

Our rooms are spacious with the latest modern amenities and each room has its own decor. In 2009, the Hotel received the Award of Excellence from the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism. From 2011 through 2016, we have received the Travelers' Choice Award by Trip Advisor, proof that our service is consistent throughout the years. We are also members of the Trip Advisor's Hall of Fame.

We are located in the Zamalek district, an island in the middle of the Nile. This residential and sought after neighborhood was developed in the 1860’s after the opening of the Suez Canal. Around our Hotel you will see the old villas and gardens from that period. It is a safe upscale district and from here you can walk to the Egyptian museum. At sunset just across from the island, you can cruise on one of our local sailboats called”Felukas”, a perfect way to end the day before a good and quiet night sleep at our lovely Hotel.

All our rooms have been remodeled and offer modern amenities and their own decor, while at the same time maintaining an elegant and individualistic style.

Our rooms feature individually controlled air conditioning, cable television (ZDF, BBC, CNN, including channels with movies in English and a variety of German and French channels), direct-dial telephone, a mini fridge, safety deposit boxes, bathroom condiments and firm mattresses. Most rooms, though not all, have flat screen TVs and more. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Some rooms have a balcony or sitting room, single or king size double beds. All rooms have private facilities with bath or shower. Standard electrical outlets are 220 volts with European type ac plugs. Laundry service is available within 24 hours.

Hotel Apartment

Our guests’ needs and expectations have gradually changed throughout the years. In line with this shift, we are happy to offer accommodation in our freshly renovated Hotel Apartment. The apartment has been created for long-staying guests who wish to have more privacy while still enjoying all hotel services and facilities . The Apartment has a king size bed, thus suitable for both single and double occupancy. It has a kitchenette with an inductor cooker which complies with our hygiene standards and safety regulations. Moreover, it is equipped with a large fridge, dish washer and a personal washing machine.

Airport services

Airport pickup and drop off services each way at 180 Egyptian Pounds for a maximum of two people, day or night.

Minivan available upon request for three to six people 380 Egyptian Pounds, day or night.

The Hotel

This is a boutique Hotel, where every room has been designed with pride and skill by the hotel owner. The hotel has been upgraded to modern standards with direct dial phones, flat screen TVs, many European fixtures and much more. The Owner

The owner owns and operates the boutique hotel, and her experience in the hospitality industry is unprecedented. As the daughter of one of the founders of modern Egyptian Tourism, she is fluent in multiple languages and was raised in the tourism business. She began her career working her way up in various well known Egyptian hotels such as the the Mena House, before taking a position with the German Airline, Lufthansa. She later resigned that position to concentrate on her hotel.

The District

The Hotel is located on Gizera Island in an upscale district known as Zamalek. Zamalek is a garden district with fine residences, many embassies, and a wide variety of shopping and restaurant choices. Here, one will find great jewelry, home accessories, antiques, craft and many other shopping opportunities. And take your choice between high end Egyptian, Italian, Chinese, American and other cuisines, or visit one of the many burger, pizza and chicken fast food establishments.

The building

The building, housing the hotel and owned by the same owner, also has 60 unfinished apartments available, which are included in the sale price.
