Marsa Alam is a resort town on the Red Sea in Egypt. It’s renowned for its sandy beaches and coral reefs. The U-shaped Abu Dabab Bay is known for its sea turtles and dugongs (sea cows). Kite-surf site, El Naaba Lagoon, is separated from the open sea by a coral reef. Wadi el-Gemal National Park, south of the town, encompasses desert, seagrass beds, reefs and islands.
It is currently seeing fast increasing popularity as a tourist destination and development following the opening of Marsa Alam International Airport in 2003.
Marsa Alam also has some inland attractions, such as the Emerald Mines and the Temple of Set I at Khanais.
Despite being over 135 miles (217 km) north of the tropical zone, the city experiences a hot desert climate with steadier temperatures than places to the north such as Hurghada and Sharm el Sheikh.
While floating on the surface of the house reef, you will find beneath your body all kind of outstanding marine species, from exceptional fishes to vibrantly colorful corals. Accommodation
With 205 deluxe rooms and suites, including 105 standard rooms with twin bed, 17 rooms with large beds, 70 rooms with triple beds, 11 suite (4-5 beds) and 2 disabled rooms. Each room with its own terrace overlooking a spectacular view of the Red Sea & the swimming pools. Each guest room or suite have comfortable and gorgeous atmosphere.
Rooms Facilities
The resort landmark is a small tower from which you can see the whole area from above and discover the stars more closely.
There are 4 pools, one of them is heated in the winter, and two of them are designated for kids and teens with small water slides.
