From the A1 highway, head to Geneva and take the exit 2 « Genève-Lac ». Follow the road along the lake then take the Mont-Blanc bridge towards the Eaux- Vives area, located in the city center, on the Geneva’s left bank.


With public transports:
Take the bus number 9 or number 25 directly until the stop « Place des Eaux-vives ».

By Car:
Follow the James- Fazy boulevard / Grottes crossing to the Chantepoulet street, then take the Mont-Blanc Bridge towards François- Versonnex street that joins the Eaux Vives area.


With public transports: 
Take the train from Geneva airport until Geneva Cornavin train station, then the bus number 9 or number 25 directly until the stop « Place des Eaux-vives ».

By Car:
Take Pré-Bois street until Louis-Casai avenue, continue on the Meyrin street and the Servette street, pass the Cornavin train station and the bridge of Mont-Blanc towards François-Versonnex street that joins the Eaux Vives area.

The Hotel as it is today

The building at Avenue de Frontenex is located about three minutes on foot from the elegant business- & shopping area of Eaux-Vives. The building exists of 3 parts; in the third one to the back is the good 3* boutique hotel , which is not part of this offer, but endorsing positively traffic to this area.

The main part , generously detached towards three sides, is the 4* Hotel  with a offers direct bus-links to both Geneva station (bus 10) and to Geneva Airport. The Hotel  offers 141 rooms, smallest starting at 18 m2 including 21 Junior Suites; all with bath, flat screen TV, and Minibar.

In the ground floor is a classic drive-in, not really used today, the reception, as well as a multi-functional room, used for breakfast. The decoration is old-fashioned and any new owner would immediately be able to visualize nice new set-ups. The entire ground floor should, in my opinion, be cleared and established into a wide and generous welcome area.

A hotel-restaurant is not required, since countless restaurants of any cultural and culinary background are available in the very neighbor hood. However, there is space for a cosy bar and even a winter garden (towards the side of the HQ of Bank Julius Bär; left in the picture).

The 8th floor, presently only used internally, has no elevators. But that floor could be used for lovely additional suites, accessible on foot by one level (elevators to 7) or possibly by new additional outdoor-glass elevator.

In any case, new owners would surely see that the Hotel should be renovated.

History of the Hotel

This hotel, built in the 70ies, is since many years owned by an affluent family, who maintains (and operates) the business without really being motivated strongly. They have no interest to bring the hotel forward, as the potential of the hotel really is! The location amidst fashion, art, culture and entertainment, is simply great. But the hotel needs new inspiration, and an owner who loves Switzerland & Geneva and who understands the long-term real estate value of this property.

The Hotel is at Sale for CHF 65 million or u.s.$ 68 million (share-deal; management-free). The owner-family want a direct deal, flat forward with immediate overtaking of management too.
