The landscape is made up of a combination of hills, ravines and grasslands with mixed vegetation and the buildings have been developed on a South-facing hill with views over the Reserve with abundant bird and Wildlife. The road to the farm is marked as a “scenic route” by Limpopo Roads Authority and includes a gravel section of 15 kilometres to the farm's gate. The property falls in a malaria-free area.

The Land comprises 698 Hectares of pristine Waterberg farm land. The lodge is built on a sub-divided 45 Hectare plot. Approximately 2 kilometres from the lodge, an eco-estate has been approved with 28 eco-stands (of approximately 1 Ha each) currently unserviced and unspoilt landscape.

The main lodge:
The Lodge was designed by Afroplan architects and developed between 2000 and 2006. The buildings offer generous room measurements, ultra high cape reed ceilings and finishes in natural and timeless materials such as stone (collected from the farm), timber frames, solid terra cotta tiles, earthy tone plasterwork and Zimbabwean teak decking. The property was graded as a 5 star establishment by SATGC in 2007 and was operated commercially until 2011. Since then, it has been operated as an exclusive conference venue only.

The lodge is situated on a full-title 45 Hectare plot surrounded by pristine bushveld private game farmland with abundant free roaming game. Access is provided by a servitude road measuring 3.5km from the main (gravel) road which has been marked as a provincial scenic road.
