The 121 Hectare property is nestled on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River, a birders paradise, right opposite the Zambezi National Park and near the Chobe Game Reserve.
The fully operational, turn-key lodge, consist of 10 luxury self-catering “ tented “ chalets, 13 luxury camp sites, rated by many returning guests as “best in Africa”.
+- 50 Hectare is fenced in with a 2,4 meter high electric game fence. The rest of the property is still virgin land and covered with exotic hardwood forests.
All chalets are en-suite with fully equipped kitchenette and private braai/barbeque. All decks have water views. 2 Chalets are wheelchair accessible.
Camp sites are lawn covered under shady trees, each with private braai/barbeque, electric lights and power points. The camp sites are serviced by 8 ablution blocks with 34 toilets, washbasins and showers, each with a dry and wet room. The gardens are under irrigation systems.
The reception area consists of an office with a dry store and walk-in strong room. Separate laundry and convenient store with store room. Reception with lounge and curio shop.
Restaurant, bar and teak deck overlooks the Zambezi river.
The kitchen, scullery and storeroom houses a walk-in fridge and freezer. Also, there is a glass fibre swimming pool with pump and filter, and a boma seating 16 guests. The restaurant and reception ablution block are also wheelchair friendly.
A man-made dam with a walk way, is home to most of the fish species found in the Zambezi River.
The well established landscaped gardens are all under sprinklers/irrigation.
