The elegantly gabled Lodge is built only meters above the wide-stretched beaches of Saldanha Bay; a tranquil South African fishing village lying approximately 120 kilometers North of the legendarily beautiful Cape Town. Situated in the relaxing privacy of the resort, the hotel offers guests a relaxing visit in comfortable accommodation, as well as a wide range of services and activities.
In total we have 33 B&B rooms, 1 Executive suite and 14 Self-Catering cottages and in total we can accommodate a maximum of 136 people sharing and 76 people in single accommodation. Please see below to get a description of each room type.

We also cater for our corporate clients with two spacious sea-facing conference rooms. They can seat up to 90 delegates and have all the necessary facilities for you to host any meeting or team building activity.
Fully equipped self-catering cottages and/or 3-Star Hotel rooms/ suites with en-suite bathrooms can accommodate delegates who require overnight facilities. For your convenience you may choose from bed and breakfast facilities to buffets and a la carte menus.

With seating capabilities for up to 100 guests, as well as on-site accommodation, everything from start to finish will be dealt with professionally and efficiently to ensure no detail is overlooked, providing you with utmost confidence of an immaculate team and eliminating any unnecessary stress on the day. We do require that you have your own wedding coordinator on the day of the event to ensure that everything runs smoothly and for wedding parties looking at getting married in 2019 onwards the venue rate will include a professional wedding coordinator to assist you on the day.
Choose from a range of cocktails, locally sourced wines or beers while sitting on the deck or choose from our a la carte menu. With a backdrop of some of the most beautiful sea-views the West Coast has to offer, you can’t go wrong at the Blue Bay Café. Our newly built bar also serves Darling Brew on tap and is open to enjoy a delicious cocktail or pizza while you enjoy watching the sport or looking at the breathtaking ocean views.
Bookings can be made at the office. Rackets and tennis balls are available at the reception. Players are required to wear appropriate tennis shoes.
The lodge has two sparkling swimming pools available to our in-house guests. One is situated on the resort for the resort guests and the other is next to the tennis court for all our guests staying in the Lodge or Suites.
We also have a private bio kinetics gym available for all our guests who would like to keep fit during their holiday. The gym is at an extra cost to all our guests; please ask at reception for a price list and more info. You can either book your assessment or just go for a daily workout.
Our on-site beauty salon “Pearls beauty salon” offers a wide variety beauty treatments in the tranquil environment next to the Lodge swimming pool. From massages, facials, make up and nail art there are a variety of treatments for you to book to make your stay even more relaxing and rewarding.

R 10bn boost for SA's Saldanha Bay.
A R 9.65-billion investment in infrastructure projects at Saldanha Bay, on South Africa's West Coast, was announced by the Transnet National Ports Authority on Monday.
TNPA, a division of state-owned entity Transnet, is mandated to control and manage all eight commercial ports on South Africa's 2 954km of coastline.
The project falls under the government's "blue economy" plans of its Operation Phakisa initiative, announced by President Jacob Zuma in 2014. The aim of the project is to clear infrastructure bottlenecks that may be constraining economic growth.
The 330ha Saldanha Bay industrial development zone was designated in 2013 as a zone dedicated to serving the oil and gas industry. It has attracted strong interest, mainly from fabricators.
Saldanha Bay supports the export of the iron-ore mined in the Northern Cape Province, which currently stands at around 57-million tons a year.Saldanha Bay IDZ boost for jobs, growth.
Willem Roux, Saldanha Bay port manager, told a press conference on Monday that the TNPA sees an opportunity in serving the oil rigs operating on the west and east coasts of Africa, Business Day reported. Roux said about 120 rigs passed South Africa's coast every year.
"We know if we do not use this opportunity now to capture this market, other ports in the southern hemisphere will gear themselves to capture it," the newspaper quoted him as saying.

The TNPA said the projects would create an estimated 6 300 new direct JOBS and 25 200 new indirect JOBS, contributing an estimated R 4.74-billion to South Africa's gross domestic product. The project is due to be completed by January 2018.
