SCICLI is an elegant town situated in a wide valley at the confluence of three deep ravines called Cave, surrounded by limestone hills, and which boasts a typical historic centre. MODICA is one of the most picturesque towns of Sicily and resembles a stone crib. Palaces, churches, gardens, streets and alleys are all steeped in the gorgeous baroque style. Don’t miss it because of its delicious gourmet chocolate. PALAZZOLO ACREIDE is a famous archaeological area. In an extremely varied landscape dominated by the Hyblaean quarries is the Controlled Nature Reserve of Valle dell’Anapo, home to Pantalica, the largest necropolis in Europe. CATANIA is where fire, water and light meet and mingle, producing a unique spectacle. Nestling in this setting is the main airport to reach the south-eastern part of Sicily.
