It is in the middle of the 5 cottages at our Guest Farm, yet with a private feel and wild-life and bird-life sightings due to proximity to indigenous Sanparks forest.

This cottage is very popular with luxury honeymooners, twitching bird-lovers or especially larger nature-loving families as it has the jungle gym, pool and bonfire area and a large garden area nearby.

Froggy Pond cottage is a LUXURY level cottage.

Our Froggy Pond Cottage is the cottage situated closest to our Guest Farm Reception, hence less private than some of the other cottages and it overlooks a very shallow pond which is frequented by herons, yellow-billed ducks, hamerkop, moorhens and a host of different frogs.

It is our iconic cottage, epitomising tranquility.

It is popular with Honeymooners and for Romantic Getaways, and of course bird-lovers who enjoy twitching right from their stoep or hammock! With the jungle gym, pool and bonfire area being slightly behind it also makes a good choice for families, although those with small children sometimes prefer to be further away from the open pond.

Firefly Cottage is LUXURY level cottage.

Our Firefly Cottage, one of our beautiful luxury cottages, is situated on the North-Eastern end of our Guest Farm property. This specific cottage is adjacent to our Lily Pond Deck, where we serve breakfast in one of the most beautiful settings – surrounded by the amazing Knysna forest. It is also nearby our private area that houses our food forest, a flock of chickens and earthworms – something small for everyone to experience and enjoy.

The Firefly Cottage has a shallow pond slightly behind it. This offers our guests similar water ambience while overlooking the indigenous Sanparks forest to the North, with our Guest Farm reception overlooking it from behind and a lovely private garden area to the North-East.

It has a private feel, although it can get a bit noisy during Breakfast & Dinner time as well as busy seasons where one can hear hikers passing by outside our Guest Farm, on their way to the Drupkelders rock pools or the Outeniqua hiking trail.

Fairyden cottage is LUXURY level cottage. these cottage offer excellent value for money.

Our Fairyden Cottage is at the Western end of the 5 cottages at our Guest Farm, furthest from the Forest Edge Reception and the only passersby are guests who visit the Woodcutter graves or Donkeys, or staff with operational business in our separate water/tools/wood processing camp.

Due to the Fairyden Cottage being quieter, especially at dawn or dusk, there is a slightly increased chance of seeing forest wildlife walking by or stopping in for a quick visit.

The Fairyden Cottage is quite close to the indigenous Sanparks forest. This cottage is very popular with budget honeymooners or those wanting to be as private as possible and get as much of the forest experience as they can as it is right on their doorstep.

Foxglove cottage is LUXURY level cottage. these cottage offer excellent value for money.

Foxglove cottage is near the Western end of the road (also away from the reception area) with a nice space in front of it overlooking the indigenous Sanparks forest, and overlooking extensive gardens to the right.

Sometimes bushbuck like to rest in the shade under this cottage and Knysna Loeries and other forest birds are often seen in the tall Forest trees in front of it. There is a picnic bench in a little secluded garden area in front of the cottage.

This cottage is popular with families, and groups of mountain-bikers who often book Fairyden and Foxglove to be close together, pensioners who enjoy gardens and bird-watching, and budget honeymooners.
